Cognitive / TBI recovery · Virtual · Canada-wide

Map what life did to your brain. Then rebuild it.

Brain fog. Memory slips. Sleep that never restores you. Performance that's a step behind where it used to be. The headaches, the short fuse, the fog no one could explain. Cognitive Health Refit measures what years of blast, impact, concussions and head injuries — and the operational stress that came with them — did to how your brain works — then builds the recovery around what it finds.

01 / The Program

Three connected phases. One clear picture — and a plan you can actually follow.

Cognitive Health Refit isn't a single appointment that ends up in a file. It's a fully virtual pathway run by a small clinical team that takes you from "something is off" to a recovery system you can sustain — and points you to the right next step when you need it.

01

Assess

A nurse practitioner works through your symptoms, your history, and a concussion and head-injury screen. Blood work and a cognitive test set a real baseline — and a genetic marker test can flag whether your head-injury history may raise your long-term risk for cognitive decline.

02

Recover

The team turns the assessment into a daily system — sleep, pacing, nutrition and weekly accountability — and brings your family in so the changes are supported at home and actually stick.

03

Reintegrate

Final labs and a repeat cognitive test show what changed against your baseline. You leave with a 90-day independence plan and a warm handoff to whatever fits next, with documentation to back it up.

02 / What it addresses

The symptoms that get written off as "just stress" or "getting older."

On their own each one is easy to dismiss. Together they're a pattern — and that pattern is what the assessment is built to find.

/ 01

Brain fog

The mental haze that makes simple tasks feel like wading through mud.

/ 02

Memory & focus

Losing the thread mid-conversation, walking into rooms, re-reading the same line.

/ 03

Broken sleep

Waking unrested, wired at night, never quite catching up.

/ 04

Headaches & sensitivity

Pressure, light and noise that grate more than they should.

/ 05

The afternoon crash

Energy that falls off a cliff, leaving nothing for the people who matter.

/ 06

Short fuse

Irritability and a nervous system that never quite switches off.

03 / About

Built for the people who took the hits — by people who understand them.

For too many veterans and first responders, the cognitive cost of service gets blamed on PTSD, on age, on character. The real drivers — repeated blast and head injury, wrecked sleep, hormonal disruption, years on high alert — go unmeasured and untreated.

Cognitive Health Refit was founded by a team of veterans, a physician, and an operations lead to change that. We measure what's actually going on, build a recovery system around it, and connect you to the treatments that fit.

04 / Who it's for

We start where the need is greatest — and the program is built to grow with it.

The same assessment-and-recovery pathway serves anyone carrying the cognitive cost of repeated impact and high-stress work.

05 / What we stand on

The principles behind the program.

01

Science-driven

Measured baselines and real testing — evidence over guesswork.

02

Human-centered

Built by people who've lived it, around your real life and family.

03

Resilient

Recovery systems designed to hold — not just help for a week.

04

Transformative

From "something's off" to functioning at full strength again.

Assess · Recover · Reintegrate

Start with an assessment.

It begins with an honest look at where you are. No cost to reach out, and nothing is shared with your employer or chain of command.
